The museum

From everyday objects to beliefs and heritage, find out about the extraordinary world of the Celts.

Welcome to the land of the Celts!

The Museum of the Celts is housed in a former rectory. Across two floors and six exhibition rooms, the Museum is much bigger than the building lets on!

By following the progress of the archaeologists who discovered the pieces on show here, the exhibition begins with Celtic tombs.

Archaeological digs provide an introduction to a journey back into the past of the Belgian Ardennes and the world of the Celts in general. All sorts of different aspects of the everyday life of the Celts are covered, including clothes, home life, tools, trade, funeral customs, and much more,

The experience is topped off with an overview of what the Celts have passed down to us, and some of the common misconceptions we have about them.
